flesh. stick. stone II is an invitation into documentation, traces and resonance of
alliances between humans and the ground as practices of transformation and
belonging. It brings together elements from a series of 3 installations exhibited in
Stockholm in 2023.

Korina Kordova is an artist working within the confluences of choreography,
dance, and performance.

Thanks to The Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm, På Sergels torg, Lusthuset in Spökparken, Galleri ID:I, Amalia Kasakove and Malcolm Jacobson.

These practices were developed on different political grounds, such as the Brazilian Amazon, the Netherlands, and a quarry in the south of Stockholm. The installation may be approached as a surface where material and incorporeal things make different geographies touch.
flesh. stick. stone II brings together elements from choreographic anarchiving: lithic – a series of 3 works exhibited in Stockholm in 2023, which unfolded from an artistic research project situated at the crossroad between choreography, feminist new materialisms, and anthropology beyond the human.
Korina Kordova (she/her) is a Stockholm-based artist working within the confluences of choreography, dance and performance. Her practice meets the public as live choreographic works, dance performances, scores in both written and aural forms, installations, publications, and workshops. Her work has been presented in performing arts venues, festivals, museums and galleries in Europe and South America. She’s interested in decolonial aesthetics, mythmaking and magic, and her practice resonates with feminist new materialisms and anthropology beyond the human. As a dancer/performer, she has worked with dance companies, independent choreographers and directors in Europe and the Americas for the last twenty years. She trained as a dancer in her native São Paulo (BR) and in the Netherlands, and earned a Masters in Performance Practices from ArtEZ University of the Arts (NL). In 2021 she undertook an internship in the Master in Choreography Program at Stockholm University of the Arts, and in 2023 she completed the Postmaster “Materialities; energies” at The Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm (SE)

Liz Kinoshita - Saga Saga 2024

Saga Saga pays tribute to the voices and bodies of women—past, present, and future. From reproductive rights to intimate testimony, this work honours female experience. Drawing inspiration from 'Caliban and the Witch' by Silvia Federici, Saga Saga weaves sad songs, stories, and embodied strength into an offering of solidarity and love.

Anouk Jouanne works within performance making & contemporary dance between the Nordics & London. She aims for her photography to act as a form of documentation & collaboration, capturing the form of dance in the moment that it is researched & rehearsed. Since 2022 she’s handprinted her work in open tray, finding the process adds to the aspects of tangibility & movement of the subject.

Jukka Korpi Four eight 2024

Four eight - Fyra åtta is a result of a very long-term solo dance project where the choreography is based on 480 pictures collected from newspapers in 10 different countries over a period of 10 years. Number 48 is constant in the work, but the choice of this quite neutral title is also based on a need to not give a lot of expectations and associations in advance, but let the dance speak for itself.

Jukka Korpi works broadly in different fields of arts, mainly in performing arts as a choreographer and director, but also as a writer.

A to A' (2015) is a solo dance performance that explores movement as locomotion. The performer repeats a series of patterns that transport her through the space. Here walking, looking and mirroring are actions that become structures to frame periods of time.

A letter on being alone, Queer love and how to spend time without making plans. a performance built around an ongoing practice of continuously writing letters to not yet met loved ones, spaces that hold meaning & memories. Following a monologue of movement and speech solely based on the longing of not be a lonely body anymore.

Lander Casier,(he/they) is a Belgian born artist working with dance and choreography, currently based in Sweden as a freelance dance artist. As an Artist they hold the desire to stay small within their practice and performative work. Lander has worked with Norrdans from 2021 until 2025. Their choreographic work has been shared in various context around Sweden, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany and Portugal.

A practice of breath in motion, amplified through microphone and voice pedal. An intimate corporeality and an expansive soundscape.

Lisa Janbell is a dance artist and choreographer. Her work weaves together ritual practices, techno music and electroacoustic soundscapes. She explores how choreography can open pathways to the transcendental, where the individual and the collective meet and dissolve.

Julia Thelin Three shorts about dance as resistance 2015-2019

Three shorts about dance consists of two dance films and one short drama film. They all revolves around the body, sexuality and resistance in different ways. They are made by Julia Thelin who will be presenting the program at site. She is a director and screenwriter with a long time fascination as well as practice in dance and choreographic work. The films that will be shown are Lilla Olle (2020), Strong Hands (2015) and High beam (2015).

Josefina Pelosi INTO MY KORE 2025

INTO MY KORE is a movement research around and in deepness into menstrual cycle phases and the liminal space between. The performance explore simbolism and transformation. Cyclicity as a practice that can support and empower us as beings.

Josefina Pelosi is a transdisciplinary artist and pedagogue based in Stockholm. Her practice is based on Contemporary Dance, Physical Theater, Somatic Practices and Butoh. In the last years they are exploring choreography and the being clown. Josefina has collaborated with artists in Italy, Spain and Sweden. Recently she started a bachelor degree in Mime at Stockholm University of the Arts.

Clara Ziegler Family & Friends 2019

Family & Friends is my first EP. I started making it as a music student at Umeå University. Making this EP was difficult, as I was learning how to produce music as I was making it, but it was also a very intuitive and playful process where I wasn't guided in any particular direction.
To this day, playfulness and fun is the foundation of my process. I’m very pleased to shed some light on these early compositions of mine, I think they show a strong passion for creating things and a willingness to learn as you go.

Clara Ziegler is an artist and music producer. She trained at Umeå University between 2017 and 2020 and now lives in Stockholm. Since the debut she has released more music, her sophomore EP “These are the good days” was released in November 2024.

Ida Mirow Bröllop 2023

Bröllop is a short story about an arranged marriage, first published in Pralin Magasin and featured in a live reading at Konträr in November 2023. In the video the story is read by the author.

Ida Mirow is a writer based in Stockholm. Her first book of poetry, Den mjukaste vännen, was published by It-lit in 2022.

Sandy Harry Ceesay (efter Fjodor Dostojevskij) Vita nätter 2025

Vita nätter är en omskriven/ avskriven version av Fjodor Dostojevskijs berömda kortroman Vita nätter framförd av Sandy Harry Ceesay. Berättaren befinner sig i det bländande vita ljuset, och försöker navigera isolationen, och förälskelsen detta ljus försätter denne i.

Sandy Harry Ceesay (han/de) är en svensk-gambisk interdisciplinär konstnär, författare och curator. Centralt i deras konstnärliga undersökning är utforskandet av identitet, minne, marginalisering och makt, ofta betraktat genom ett queert och dekolonialt perspektiv. Efter att ha tagit examen som dansare från Amsterdam University of the Arts 2020 har deras konstnärliga praktik utvidgats till att omfatta flera olika medier såsom performance, måleri, teckning, video och text. År 2022 debuterade de med sin första roman Kärlekens Exil på Albert Bonniers Förlag. För närvarande arbetar de med sin andra roman, bland andra projekt.

Theodor Hildeman Togner Tioårsjubileum: läsning ur poesiboken Ut. 2015

Projektet är tänkt som ett sceniskt ramverk där det komplexa, det osagda och det drömska i våra identiteter utforskas. Arbetet utgår från intervjuer som råmaterial, där jag ställt frågan till flera afrosvenskar: ”Hur upplever du din svarthet?” Svaren blev rika, motsägelsefulla och fulla av osynliga skikt. Utifrån dessa svar vill jag med rörelse som språk skapa en afrosurrealistisk föreställning, som gräver i skuggorna, firar dem och belyser svarta människors erfarenheter.

Hara will play old music on the new piano at Höjden while Ellen will perform something new as well as things from both the recent and far away past. The performance will start in the dance studio and include materials by Purcell, Chopin and from the artists’ repertoirs.

Hara Alonso is a composer and musician whose music has been performed internationally.

Ellen Söderhult is a dancer and choreographer, with a current interest in the hauntedness of choreography.

Sara Soumah An act of resistance 2024

Dancer and choreographer Sara Soumah explores what it means to resist as an individual when basic values regarding equality and human rights are violated, when fear and suspicion spread and get under the skin of society. Driven by a deep-rooted feeling that ‘I must act’. Gathering courage. Getting overwhelmed by the insight that it is a commitment against Goliath but still maintaining an indomitable faith that we can do better. No more silence.

Johanna Tengan Seeing in the Dark 2025

In this performance Johanna Tengan explores our collective shadow and how we have learned to suppress the darkness within us. Is there a possibility for seeing in the dark? Perhaps there is a possibility for embrace, for being able to surrender to the totality of what we are and seeing beauty in the dark. She explores the possibility of wholeness and the notion that we have both the light and dark within us. Through the use of spoken word, dance and music Johanna invites the audience into her musings on the state of the world and our humanity right now.

Deike Ladwig, född 1979 i Hamburg, har under många år arbetat som ljusdesigner för offentliga rum. De senaste åren har hon valt att byta yrkesbana och utbildat sig till uttryckande konstterapeut och samtalsterapeut. Vid sidan av sitt arbete är hon även konstnärligt verksam på sin fritid.

Blowing, rivering and moaning. The room is getting a little warmer, autumnally humid.

This version, made especially for the Vilorum (resting room) at Höjden, invites three people at the time and it’s possible to book a slot directly on site. Petra and Yari have been working fragmentarily with the materialities of loss, feelings of mourning, changes of the flesh and emergences.
